Our programs: General English The Times Academy English General English courses prepare adult learners for further vocational studies, travel and work in Australia. These courses focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking. School Preparation Programs The Times Academy English for High School Preparation (ages 12-18) and English for Primary School Preparation (ages 7-12) are purpose-designed courses to prepare young people for success in the Australian School system. Students study the key learning areas, values and character development and the language skills required for successful academic entry and progression in Australian schools. IELTS Test Preparation The IELTS preparation course is designed to provide students who are intending to sit for the IELTS examination with a demanding course of study. The course equips students with the strategies they need to realise their full potential and attain their desired IELTS score. English for Academic Purposes The Times Academy’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed to prepare international students for tertiary studies in Australian institutions. It aims to equip students with a firm foundation in academic English and a set of study skills which will support them as they undertake further studies. Early Childhood Education and Care This reflects the role of workers in a range of Early childhood education settings. These qualifications are nationally recognised and provide employment opportunities as early childhood educators, family day care educators, preschool assistants or in-home child educators. Aged Care & Support Workers Programs This reflects the role of workers in a range of support working positions for the aged or others. These qualifications are nationally recognised and provide employment opportunities as support workers and aged care workers in educators in individual support, private care facilities, nursing homes and seniors centres. Leadership & Management Programs This course prepares students for a range of jobs in management and entrepreneurship.
