Academic Entry Requirements | The following requirements apply for the start of a Bachelor’s degree: General higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences including practical parts*. Successful admission procedure: As a rule, this is an entrance test. There is no restriction by NC (Numerus Clausus). *In exceptional cases, it is also possible to study without the general (technical) university entrance qualification. This requires completed vocational training, at least two years of work experience in a subject-related vocational training and enrolment in a subject-related degree programme. Achievements in degree programmes at other state or state-recognised higher education institutions as well as achievements made outside of higher education are recognised upon application, provided that their equivalence with the achievements in the degree programme in question has been established. Equivalence shall be established if no significant difference can be proven and the achievements essentially correspond in content, scope and requirements to the study programme for which recognition is applied for. The examination board is responsible for this. The specific requirements for recognition and the exact procedure for this are regulated in the relevant examination regulations for the study programme.
