This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.

They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

Course Structure

This qualification is made up of 17 units of competency (subjects):

  • 15 Core units – Units you must complete as part of the qualification
  • 2 Elective units – Alana Kaye College have chosen the elective units that we believe are the most beneficial and relevant to the majority of students 

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply International students must be of 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Evidence of an IELTS score of 5.5 or above, or it's equivalent must be shown.
