This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously. Under the Education and Care Services National Law (2011) the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) publishes lists of approved early childhood education and care qualifications and information regarding regulatory requirements here: www.acecqa.gov.au
To be awarded this qualification students must successfully complete the following units of competency:

IELTS Score (Minimum) | Have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:

On successful completion of the course, students will receive Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification. Graduates from this course will be able to perform the duties of Early Childhood Educator. Graduates will have entry level understanding of children’s development, health and safety of supervising children and ability to identify and respond to behavioral issues and provide emergency first aid response to children
