Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work.
This qualification provides a pathway to work as a hairdresser in any industry environment, usually a salon.

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Must have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent level of schooling or a Certificate III or higher qualification with an Australian institution.

Minimum Age to Apply Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Must demonstrate English language competency at IELTS Academic 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 or equivalent.
