Minimum Age to Apply You must be at least 18 years of age.
Academic Entry Requirements

Students must have Year 12 or equivalent  OR

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:

Individuals may enter SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management with limited or no vocational experience and without a lower-level qualification (meeting entry requirements).
Pathways from the qualification:
After achieving SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, individuals could progress to SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Students must have an IELTS* score of 6 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or
successful completion of an English Placement Test.
Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. You are required to provide your results so that we can confirm they are equivalent to IELTS 6.
PTE Score (Minimum) Students must have a minimum overall score of 52.
