Course Overview

Our Diploma of Community Services (CHC52015) is government-approved and fully accredited.

This course will provide you with advanced communication skills as well as the ability to establish strategies for working with at-risk groups in your community. You'll also learn how to conduct research and how to work within legal and ethical boundaries. Our highly qualified instructors will provide you with one-on-one assistance as well as the industry expertise you'll need to succeed in the community sector. It will also provide you with the necessary knowledge to continue your education.

Course Structure

The Diploma of Hospitality Management has 16 total units, including 8 core units and 8 elective units.

Delivered full-time over 52 weeks, including 40 weeks term time and 12 weeks of holidays. During term students attend scheduled classes for 15 hours per week. Students are required to undertake additional independent study, homework and assessment outside of class time. The approximate delivery hours for this course are:

  • Structured classes: 15 hours per week = 600 hours
  • Independent study: 10 hours per week = 400 hours
  • Total course hours: 1,000 

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Minimum Australian Year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (or foreign equivalent). 
Minimum Age to Apply Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Minimum English proficiency level of IETLS 5.5 (overall band) or equivalent.
