Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager.

Course Structure

To attain this qualification, 12 core units of competency must be successfully completed.

The course is delivered face-to-face, in a classroom-based training model of 20 hours per week. Assessments are conducted using a combination of written assignments, oral questioning, case studies, projects, work placement logbook/portfolio and practical observations in the workplace or simulated work environment.

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply All students must be 18 years of age or over.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Must have a minimum IELTS band 5.5 or equivalent.

Internship or Work Placements

Participants are required to undertake 180 hours of supervised work placement, which provides an excellent opportunity to improve practical job skills and gain valuable industry exposure. This course will also be conducted inside a working mechanical workshop to provide students with additional industry exposure and experience in a real workplace setting.
