Course Overview

Develop knowledge and understanding of management in the hospitality industry. You will gain an in-depth understanding of management including finance, tailored to the hospitality sector. The course will teach you the skills needed to be a supervisor, manager or department head within your establishment.

This qualification has 28 units of competency of which:

  • 11 are core units
  • 17 are elective units



Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Satisfactory completion of Year 12 or equivalent schooling OR Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 4.
Minimum Age to Apply Be, at least, 18 years of age and participate in a suitability interview for your chosen qualification.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) IELTS 5.5 overall with each band 5 or above, or equivalent.

Internship or Work Placements

The qualification will include 36 shifts (Complete service periods), equivalent to approximately 180 hours, to be undertaken in Alliance College function and training café.
