Academic Entry Requirements

Year 12 or equivalent OR

Suggested pathways for candidates considering this qualification include:
Completion of a certificate level qualification within the SIT training package.
Pathways from the qualification:
After achieving SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality, individuals could progress to SIT60316 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management or higher education qualifications in management with other institutions.

Minimum Age to Apply Be at least 18 years of age.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) Have an IELTS* score of 6 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or
successful completion of an English Placement Test.
Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. You are required to provide your results so that we can confirm they are equivalent to IELTS 6.
PTE Score (Minimum) Students must have a minimum overall score of 52.
