Course Overview

The CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media introduces students to the Creative Industries. Students engage in industry projects from conception through to production, helping them develop foundational skills while exploring a range of industry topics.


JMC Academy's CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media is designed to reflect production roles and tasks in the creative industries. The course is practical and project-based, including both individual and group work, and using professional industry equipment and resources. Importantly, students will also practice and extend their citical and creative thinking skills in the process of developing employability skills and an understanding of the world of work.


The course involves both written and project-based assessment tasks. Students have access to JMC's Plato platform for course information, subject resources, discussion forums and assessment briefs.

Course Structure

The CUA31020 Certificate III in Screen and Media is a nationally recognised qualification from the CUA Creative Arts Training Package, it requires the completion of the following units:
