Course Overview

This course is designed for students wishing to develop a broad knowledge base in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities.

Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills. They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others

Course Structure

To attain BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business (Administration) the BSB – Business Services Training Package requires students to complete 12 units comprising 6 core and 6 elective units.

Academic Entry Requirements
Students seeking admission to this course must complete schooling of Year 12 or equivalent Australian degree.

Mature age students (21 years and over) may be admitted into the Diploma and Certificate programs without formal academic qualifications.

*Students who have previously completed a Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma qualification in Australia do not need to provide school certificates.

Any overseas/international learner who scores below the minimum level in the tests mentioned above, must have undertaken, or agree to undertake, an English language programme (ELICOS) of at least 10 weeks’ duration.
OR 
Any overseas/international learner who has completed a certificate IV or above qualification in Australia in an English-medium institution, is deemed to have satisfied College English language proficiency requirements.  Proof of completion must be provided at the time of application.
OR 
Any on-shore learner who does not have an IELTS/TOEFL/ PTE Academic/Cambridge score, or Elicos certification, may satisfy College English language requirements, if at the time of their application, they can demonstrate a Core Skills Profile for Adults Level 3 or above, in the ACER English language, literacy and numeracy test.
