Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply advanced knowledge and skills in a range of strategic leadership and management roles.
Individuals at this level make high level autonomous decisions and use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions in varied contexts. They have full responsibility and accountability for personal outputs and for the work or function of others.
They use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge, in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems. They use communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and to transfer knowledge and ideas to others.
Upon successful completion of all units in this course, students are eligible for the award of BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership.

Course Structure

To attain BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership, the BSB – Business Services Training Package requires students to complete 8 units comprising 2 core and 6 elective units.

  • An Advanced Diploma level of qualification in related fields of study

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree level of qualification in related fields of study

  • Any demonstrated vocational experience, employment or workplace experience that applicants have had in the management sector or closely related sector

Any overseas/international learner who scores below the minimum level in the tests mentioned above, must have undertaken, or agree to undertake, an English language programme (ELICOS) of at least 10 weeks’ duration.
OR 
Any overseas/international learner who has completed a certificate IV or above qualification in Australia in an English-medium institution, is deemed to have satisfied College English language proficiency requirements.  Proof of completion must be provided at the time of application.
OR 
Any on-shore learner who does not have an IELTS/TOEFL/ PTE Academic/Cambridge score, or Elicos certification, may satisfy College English language requirements, if at the time of their application, they can demonstrate a Core Skills Profile for Adults Level 3 or above, in the ACER English language, literacy and numeracy test.
