Course Overview

Duration: 2 weeks to 2 years. Varies with Experience and RPL.

Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation gives an understanding of Calibration and Commissioning of Pressure, Level, Density, Flow and Temperature Transmitters. It allows you to connect transmitters to PLC and program a sequence to control them according to the logic in the Ladder diagram.

Future Pathways include UEE31211 – Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control OR UEE50211 – Diploma of Electrical and Instrumentation

On completion of your Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation , you will receive a Nationally recognised qualification.

This qualification provides competencies to select, install, commission, fault find and maintain electrical and

instrumentation equipment in buildings and premises and instrumentation systems and core instrumentation

equipment for process and control. It includes ERAC requirements for an 'Electrician's licence'.
