Course Overview

This course continues development from the foundations provided in the Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication and extends these to the strategic level required to effectively manage a marketing program.
The digital and social media aspects continue to be a focus as well as providing the managerial skills to build and direct a creative team. In conjunction with these skills the course content covers the essential knowledge and skills that enable an effective Marketing Manager to interpret and select from data to identify trends and developments that could provide opportunities or barriers to effectively marketing a product or service in today’s competitive environment.

After achieving the Diploma of Marketing and Communication, candidates may undertake further study in University qualifications in the area of Marketing and Communication.

To attain a Diploma of Marketing and Communication, competency in the 12 units must be achieved
