Course Overview
The IELTS preparation course aims to:
Familiarise students with all elements of the IELTS test.
Provide test taking strategies to maximize student band scores.
Assist students to achieve the band score they need.
Duration: 2 – 12+ weeks, depending on level
Testing:
On entering the college the student will be given a placement test to determine whether he/she is ready to join an IELTS class and in which areas of the test he/she needs to pay particular attention. Throughout the course students’ progress will be monitored with materials similar to those used in the real test.
Course Structure
The IELTS Preparation course is a 20 hour/week course designed to prepare students to undertake the IELTS English test. Students who wish to enrol in the program should demonstrate at least an intermediate level of English skills.
