Course Overview

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability.

Academic Entry Requirements
  • To enter into the courses delivered at ASIA, applicants should have successfully completed AQF Level 4. or
  • Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements considering they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 2 years’ experience would normally be expected; however, each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidence in the form of an employment reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered.

IELTS Score (Minimum)
  • Either a minimum IELTS (General) test score of 6 or equivalent for direct entry into a VET course. Results older than two years are not acceptable.

  • to provide evidence that they have studied in English for at least five years in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States OR to provide evidence that, within two years* of their signed written agreement date, they have successfully completed in Australia a foundation course or a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or a substantial part of a Certificate IV or higher-level qualification, from the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Please note: Astral will also accept equivalent test results from the following specified English language tests – TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic,Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) and TOEFL PBT.

The test must have been taken no more than two years* before you apply to study at ASIA.
*The date when ASIA receives the signed written agreement (either through Email or in hand)
