To gain entry to full course it is recommended you:

To enter the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building), for RPL it is recommended that you have:
Have been employed in the general construction industry and have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in residential and commercial applications to complete an RPL. 

Minimum Age to Apply Must be older than 18 years of age to enrol. A student younger would find it hard to have gained the level of knowledge and skills gained through life, work and study, that is required to meet the criteria of RPL

Career Opportunities

This course is designed to meet the needs of construction contractors, managers, supervisors and workers that oversee work and quality including liaising with clients in the construction industry. These persons will generally work for small to medium-sized building businesses, or are in the transition stage of seeking employment in construction that require licencing as per the requirements of State Regulators. It provides the knowledge and skills required to coordinate the overall construction of low rise buildings.


The units out of this qualification are recognised by state builder regulators including Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC)
