Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.They may plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyze, and synthesize information from a variety of sources.

This course is designed for international students who will be involved in classroom training in a full-time capacity to gain the qualification. These students may come from different countries and cultural backgrounds and must hold a valid student visa.

Course Structure

Students need to complete twelve (12) units of competency in total, including 6 core units and 6 elective units:

Core Units:

Elective Units:

  1. BSBFIN501 Manage budgets and financial plans 
  2. BSBWHS521 Ensure a safe workplace for a work area 
  3. BSBXCM501 Lead communication in the workplace 
  4. BSBSUS511 Develop workplace policies and procedures for sustainability 
  5. BSBTWK503 Manage meetings 
  6. BSBOPS504 Manage business risk

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Completed year 12 (HSC or equivalent)
Minimum Age to Apply Must be 18 years of age or over

Minimum 5.5 IELTS score or equivalent as per the following:
TOEFL iBT 46
PTE Academic 42
OET: B for each test component
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) 162
