Course Overview

This qualification reflects the job roles of workers in the accounting industry of those employees performing bookkeeping tasks for organisations in a range of industries. Individuals in these roles apply theoretical and specialist knowledge and skills to work autonomously, and exercise judgement in completing routine and non-routine activities.

Course Structure

This qualification has 13 units of competency, 8 core units and 5 elective units. This qualification is delivered in a Blended Learning approach over 20 hours per week over a period of 78 weeks with 9 terms of study (6 weeks per term) and up to 24 weeks of holiday.

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply Must be over the age of 18 years
Academic Entry Requirements Must have completed a year 12 certificate or Certificate III in a related field or equivalent or have relevant vocational experience
Language Requirement
English Language Requirements
All students must have a minimum English language proficiency of Upper-Intermediate, or
Successfully passed NCCS’s English Placement Test at the College, or IELTS score 5.5 or equivalent
Australian qualification equivalent to a minimum of Certificate III level or a substantial component of a course leading towards a Certificate IV or higher
