Course Overview

This course reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Course Structure

This qualification consists of 10 units of competency including 5 core units and 5 elective units. This qualification is delivered in a Blended Learning approach over 20 hours per week over a period of 104 weeks with 12 terms of study (6 weeks per term) and up to 32 weeks of holiday.

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Must have completed Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).

Minimum Age to Apply Must be over the age of 18 years

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) IELTS score 5.5 or equivalent.
English Language Requirements All students must be able to provide evidence (completed within the last 2 years) of one of the following:
  • English language proficiency of Upper-Intermediate
  • Successfully passed the English Placement Test at the College
  • Australian qualification equivalent to a minimum of Diploma level
