Course Overview

This course reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge in a wide variety of contexts. The job roles that relate to this qualification may include Contracts Officer, Project Administrator and Quality Officer.
Individuals in these roles work autonomously, and might be members of a project team, with no direct responsibility for overall project outcomes. Primarily, these roles would support wider project operations. They may use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities.

Course Structure

This qualification consists of 9 units of competency including 3 core units and 6 elective units. This qualification is delivered in a Blended Learning approach over 20 hours per week over a period of 52 weeks with 6 terms of study (6 weeks per term) and up to 16 weeks of holiday.

Academic Entry Requirements Must have completed a year 12 certificate or Certificate III in a related field or equivalent or have relevant vocational experience

All students must be able to provide evidence (completed within the last 2 years) of:

English language proficiency of Upper-Intermediate, or
IELTS score 5.5 or equivalent, or
Successfully passed the English Placement Test at the College, or
Australian qualification equivalent to a minimum of Certificate III level or a substantial component of a course leading towards a Certificate IV or higher
