Course Structure

Readygrad's Professional Internship Program is structured into a 20-week experience, divided into two main stages:

Stage 1: Preparation & Interviews (typically 6 weeks)

  • Personal Consultation: Meet with your Placement Consultant to discuss your career aspirations.
  • Resume Building: Collaboratively work on perfecting your resume.
  • Interview Workshop: Boost your interview confidence with our workshop.
  • WHS Training: Complete online Work Health and Safety training to prepare for the workplace.
  • Internship Matching: We match you with one of our 6K+ host companies and arrange your interviews.

Stage 2: 12-Week Professional Internship Placement

  • Real-World Experience: You will apply university knowledge in a professional setting and participate in relevant tasks and projects. A dedicated mentor will help and guide you throughout your placement.
  • Diverse Opportunities: Internships in accounting, engineering, finance, HR, IT, and marketing.
  • Learn and Grow: Gain valuable insights and experience in your field of study through our host companies.

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Minimum Age to Apply Be 18 years of age or older
Academic Entry Requirements
Completed or enrolled in a degree or diploma in the area of your nominated internship placement
Availability for a minimum of three days a week during office hours for placement

Abide by the Readygrad Student Code of Conduct, including maintaining professional standards and attitudes at all times at Readygrad campuses and at the host company
Language Requirement
English Language Requirements IELTS 6.0 score overall with no less than 6.0 in each skill, or equivalent, if applicable

*What is: BSBOPS201 Work Effectively in Business Environments?

This nationally recognised short course is a key part of your internship placement. It provides information about organisations and their operations and a series of learning activities to complete in your host organisation. These activities will be captured in our eGrad online learning system and assessed by Readygrad. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to earn a Statement of Attainment for your portfolio.

This short course is known as a Unit of Competency and is provided by Readygrad as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45724).

If you complete your internship as a required part of your qualification (for credit), you will have assessments for your institution and will not complete BSBOPS201, Work Effectively in Business Environments.
