Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.  Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

Course Structure

The CHC33015 Certificate III In Individual Support requires the completion of the following 13 Units (including 7 core and 6 electives).

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Australian Year 11 or an equivalent level of schooling or a Certificate III or Higher Qualification with an Australian Institution.

Minimum Age to Apply The candidate must complete 18 yrs of age or older at the time of course commencement.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) The candidates needs to secure the English level of IELTLS 5.5, with no band less than 5.0 or equivalent.
