Course Overview

This course encourages the candidate to work in the role of workers in a wide range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing.

Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

The CHC43115 Certificate IV In Disability requires the completion of the following 14 Units (including 11 core and 3 electives).

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Australian Year 12 or an equivalent level of schooling or a Certificate III or Higher Qualification with an Australian Institution.

Minimum Age to Apply The candidate must complete 18yrs of age or older at the time of course commencement.

Potential candidates may be asked to undertake an LLN Assessment / Enrolment Interview prior to acceptance.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) The candidates need to secure the English level of IELTLS 5.5, with no band less than 5.0 or equivalent.
