Course Overview

This course is designed for those who want o discover the role of becoming a support worker who is specialized in contributing a service to the aged; either residential or community based environments.

You as a aging supporter service worker will take responsibility for their own actions within the defined guidelines of the organization you represent and maintain the standard and quality of service at all times from the development, facilitating and review of individualized service planning and delivery of service.
You as individual who works for an organization may be required to demonstrate leadership qualities and show that you can give maximum quantity and quality of service within all limited parameters.

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Completed an Australian Year 12 or equivalent schooling OR Certificate III OR higher qualification with an Australian Institution.

Minimum Age to Apply The candidate must complete 18yrs of age or older at the time of course commencement.

Potential candidates may be asked to undertake an LLN Assessment/Enrolment Interview prior to acceptance to the course.

Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) The candidate needs to secure the English level of IELTS 6.0, with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent.
