Course Overview

The CPC33020 Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying provides students with necessary skills, knowledge and experience to work on a building site in the areas of bricklaying and blocklaying.

Students will learn how to lay and bond bricks and similar building blocks for domestic, commercial and public buildings and how to construct arches, columns, steps, stairs, feature walls, curved walls and ornamental panels. Alongside these skills you will learn how to use different bonds. You will gain valuable knowledge to be able to interpret plans and apply work health and safety to ensure you meet safety standard requirements at all times.

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Students must have completed at least Year 10 or demonstrated work experience.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) IELTS 5.5 with nothing less than 5 in any band or TOEFL IBT 46 or PTE 42 or CAE 47 or equivalent level from an approved ELICOS College.
