ACWA Diploma of Community Services - International
Course Overview
This course is is specifically designed to give you the right skills and knowledge to work with people, and assist them in seeking solutions to a range of personal and social issues. Community Services Workers work in many aspects of people’s lives and may work with children and families, senior citizens, those living with disabilities, those suffering drug and alcohol dependency, those living with a mental illness and other areas within the community.
Course Structure
This course requires the completion of 16 units including 8 core units and 8 elective units.

- CHCCSM005 Develop, facilitate and review all aspects of case management
- CHCCCS004 Assess co-existing needs
- CHCCSL002 Apply Specialist interpersonal and counselling interview skills

| Academic Entry Requirements | Relevant to work in the community sector or have sufficient experience and knowledge of community work or service.
