The Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology prepares students or recognises and develops existing workers who are repairing, maintaining and re-manufacturing the body of vehicles in the automotive industry. An automotive body repair mechanic (panel beater) carries out repairs on the frame and bodywork of cars and other vehicles in order to make the damaged vehicles safe and roadworthy and to restore it to its original pre-accident condition.
This course will require the completion of 31 units (17 core units and 14 elective units) over 75 weeks.

Academic Entry Requirements | Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent in the student’s home country. Students who have not completed Year 12 (or equivalent) must have relevant work experience or a qualification that indicates a likely success of course completion.
