The CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction covers the skills and knowledge needed by professional builders, providing skills and techniques to manage a successful building business, such as how to plan construction work, apply building codes and supervise on-site construction projects.

Students will gain a trade outcome in building, covering work in residential and commercial applications. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.

Entry Requirement

Admission Requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Students must have completed Year 11 or equivalent or AQF Certificate or higher.
Language Requirement
IELTS Score (Minimum) IELTS 5.5 with nothing less than 5 in any band or TOEFL IBT 46 or PTE 42 or CAE 47 or equivalent level from an approved ELICOS College.
