To be awarded this qualification students must successfully complete the following units of competency:

ICTSAS432 - Identify and resolve client ICT problems
ICTICT426 - Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and practices:
BSBCRT404 - Apply advanced critical thinking to work processes:
ICTICT451 - Comply with IP, ethics, and privacy policies in ICT environments:
ICTPRG302 - Apply introductory programming techniques:
BSBXCS404 - Contribute to cyber risk management by understanding and mitigating threats.
Entry Requirement

| Minimum Age to Apply | Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. |
| Academic Entry Requirements | Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or its equivalent from an overseas institution.
A Certificate IV in Information Technology, or completion of other BSB/ICT or equivalent related courses, is preferable. |

| IELTS Score (Minimum) | IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test with an overall score of 5.5. |
| TOEFL-IBT Score (Minimum) | TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) internet-based test with a score of 46 or above |
| PTE Score (Minimum) | PTE (Pearson Test of English) Academic with a score of 42 or above. |
| CAE Score (Minimum) | Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) from Cambridge ESOL with test scores of 47 or above. |
