Course Overview
The Diploma in Automotive Technology will teach you the skills and knowledge required to diagnose, analyse, evaluate, design, and modify vehicle systems in the automotive retail, service, and repair industry. You will learn how to analyse and evaluate faults in steering systems, suspension systems, braking systems, fuel systems, transmission & driveline systems.

| IELTS Score (Minimum) | International Students applying for this qualification must have a minimum English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 (overall band) or an equivalent exam result recognised by the Department of Home Affairs. Australian migration rules are based on Assessment Level (degree of safety) assigned to every immigrant nationality that goes from level 1 to level 4. The higher the Assessment Level means it can be difficult to get a visa. For further information, please visit Department of Home Affairs website. However, for Assessment Level 1 countries, you may not be asked to provide evidence of English Language with your Visa Application. You must still take the Ashton College pre-entry placement test at Orientation. It is used as a guide to determine the level of language, literacy and numeracy required for competent performance. |
