Course Overview
This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.
This course is designed for international students who will be involved in classroom training in a full time capacity to gain the qualification. These students may come from different countries and cultural backgrounds and must hold a valid student visa.
Course Structure
Assuming students have completed a pathway of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery SIT30821 and Certificate IV in Kitchen Management SIT40521 they will only be required to complete the following 6 units of competency:
Core Units:
- SITXCCS016 Develop and manage quality customer service practices
- SITXCCS015 Enhance customer service experiences
- SITXFIN010 Prepare and monitor budgets
- SITXMGT005 Establish and conduct business relationships
- SITXGLC002 Identify and manage legal risks and comply with law
Elective Unit:
- BSBOPS502 Manage business operational plans
