Course Overview
This course focuses on the development of English language skills, starting with the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills that are directly related to immediate personal and social needs. The course progresses to include a range of more complex communication skills and knowledge in English and consolidates with advanced English language speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. The purpose of this qualification is preparation for participation in further English language study or vocational training which may include English language support, or employment.
Course Structure
The purpose of the course is to provide a General English course for students at the Beginners, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate levels. The course is designed to allow flexible entry and exit points in line with students’ English language proficiency levels.
