This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in program management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. A program is defined as a set of interrelated projects, each of which has a project manager. ‘Multiple projects’, or ‘a program of projects’, refers to a number of related projects managed by the same person as a program to achieve organisational objective/s. It applies to individuals who are program managers, managing or directing a suite of projects (a program) to achieve organisational objectives.
52 weeks over 4 terms, including breaks and holidays. The course is delivered over 2.5 days per week.
There are 12 units in this qualification out of which 4 are core units and 8 are elective units as chosen by Salford College.
Study Mode and Assessment Methods
This course is delivered in a classroom environment and includes theory, group discussions, case studies, presentations, role plays, research, projects, workplace simulated activities, computer activities and written assessments.
Have completed one of the following qualifications : BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management; or BSB51415 Diploma of Project management or a superseded equivalent versions
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an Project program environment within an enterprise
On completion of this course students may choose to progress to an appropriate Bachelor program.
