Course Overview
For students who want to learn “real-life English,” Ozford offers all levels of General English, delivering new and relevant topics each week (10- 15 weeks each level). Your class will focus on valuable and practical communication skills for a range of situations. You will meet people from different countries and cultures while learning what you need at your own pace. Your level of English is tested on your first day at Ozford. Promotion to the following English language level is possible as you progress. Each week of the course, you will be assessed in the four macro skills, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The General English course also includes a range of exciting incursions, excursions, and dynamic English sessions.
Course Structure
General English classes focus on valuable and practical communication skills for students intending to improve their English skills for work or study-related reasons. Students study with people from different countries and cultures while learning at a steady pace. Each General English course aims to build students' English language proficiency by following a set of objectives to achieve the learning outcomes for each macro skill. The aim is to develop student's employability, and the learning objectives are taken from the Australian Core Skills Framework. We aim to successfully build the students' language skills to undertake further studies at Ozford or elsewhere in Australia.
